Adult Learning Link provides
free information, advice and services for people living in Greater Craigmillar
who are interested in improving their job prospects and learning skills.
The centre provides support for improving your
skills, changing your job, returning to work or study as well as study and computer support.

Information and advice
You can arrange to
talk to a trained adviser about finding information on training, education
and careers for adults or getting advice on practicalities, such as how
to apply for training, costs, grants and benefits.
The advice and guidance is friendly, impartial and confidential. If you
wish, you can arrange to meet an advser at another venue.
Getting into work
The centre provides
advice on different types of work and how to prepare for jobs. It provides
help with writing CV's, filling in job application forms and preparing
for interviews.

The courses are free and do not affect DSS Benefit. Groups are small,
friendly and supportive. Free childcare is
available.

The shop-style centre
is based in the shopping
area on Niddrie Main
Road, but courses are also run from a variety of locations in the greater
Craigmillar area in North East Edinburgh. The centre has a toilet. There is wheelchair access for disabled users.
